UFC 156 Prelims on FX Sets Ratings Record

Good news for the UFC…
According to Dave Meltzer, the UFC 156 prelims on FX scored the all-time viewership record for any company event on the station with 1.9 million viewers. The previous record was set two weeks prior, which was 1.86 million for the Vitor Belfort vs. Michael Bisping show.
As far as prelims ratings, this was the second largest ever for prelims. The first was the February 5, 2011 show, also the night before the Super Bowl, which did 2.0 million viewers in Spike TV.
