Update on Josh Barnett’s Negotiations With the UFC

What’s the deal?
According to mmajunkie.com, Josh Barnett (32-6) has not signed with the UFC. Word is that the two sides have reached "a sticking point," despite agreeing on guaranteed compensation. Barnett's manager Leland LaBarre had the following to say about the fighter's negotiations…
"Once we have an acceptable deal with someone, we will close, sign and hopefully fight within a few months…
We've had a discussion with every major organization you've heard of and some you haven't."
