Gabriel Gonzaga vs Travis Browne Added To The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale

A heavyweight fight...
MMA Junkie reports that a heavyweight fight between Gabriel Gonzaga (14-6 MMA, 9-5 UFC) and Travis Browne (13-1-1 MMA, 4-1-1 UFC) has been added to the card of The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale on April 13. The event will take place at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The main card will air on on FX with preliminary fights on FUEL TV and Facebook. Gonzaga vs. Browne likely will be part of the main card.
Gonzaga had his third straight win and went to 2-0 in his latest UFC run with a second-round submission win over Ben Rothwell at UFC on FX 7. He was released in 2010 after a 1-3 losing streak against names like Shane Carwin, Junior dos Dantos and Brendan Schaub. A regional show win and a late-notice UFC opportunity got him back, where he beat Ednaldo Oliveira by submission in early 2012.
Browne has won three fights in a row and was close to a title shot before losing by TKO to Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva in October. He tore his hamstring in that fight. He has nine KOs in 13 wins, including a superman-punch KO of Stefan Struve in 2011.
