Court McGee Says That He's Glad He's at Welterweight Now

Court McGee recently spoke with MMAjunkie about his switching from middleweight to welterweight and more. Check out the highglights:
On deciding to cut down to welterweight a year ago: "But I got offered these fights, so we took them."
On his middleweight run: "I definitely was outsized. The guys were walking a little bigger, but it was just a little harder to take guys down. They would have an extra 10 to 15 pounds on me. That little bit of extra power helps, man."
On doing a test cut to welterweight: "I went four rounds against another UFC fighter, and I felt great."
On changing his diet: "It doesn't get boring. The payout is that I can carry the message to people who struggle out there, and better take care of my family. I love going against another person and trying to beat them."
