UFC Releases Jacob Volkmann

He’s gone…
Following his UFC 156 loss to Bobby Green, Jacob Volkmann (15-4) has been released by the UFC. Volkmann posted the following on his Twitter…
"Was just cut from the UFC today. I want to thank the fans, and say i gave it my all. No regrets."
Volkmann signed with the UFC on 2009, and was 9-0 at that time.
