The UFC Planning December Event in Australia

Tom Wright would like a title fight in the main event...
The Daily Telegraph spoke with UFC executive Tom Wright who said the promotion is planning a fight card in Australia near Christmas in December. Wright is also pushing for a title fight to headline the card.
Wright stated, "As it stands, I don't think the event will be pay-per-view. It will most likely be on FX. And these events, as you know, have boasted some huge fights in recent times. So a world title bout is what I'll be pushing for."
Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide are all potential locations for the event.
Wright also commented on a follow-up to the previous season of The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes, an international format version of the show that featured a British team against an Australian team. He stated on a new season: "It may not be Australia against Britain and it may not necessarily be shot in Sydney, or even Australia. We could be taking a group of Aussies overseas. There will be plenty of new surprises."
