Bryan Caraway No Longer Second Guessing Himself

He has a fight this Saturday...
In an interview with MMA Junkie, Bryan Caraway talked about being portrayed as anxious on The Ultimate Fighter 14. He will meet Takeya Mizugaki (16-7-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) at UFC on FUEL TV 8.
On how he was portrayed on TUF 14: "Being on 'The Ultimate Fighter' show, they decided to portray my nervousness more as being scared. It's more of a performance anxiety. I would be so worried I wouldn't live up to other people's expectations or my own, and I would put all this pressure on myself."
On how he used to act regarding fights: "I would tend to try not to lose instead of trying to win. I was second-guessing myself. 'Do I really belong at this level? I'm from Goldendale – a 3,000-person town. What am I doing here?' It got to the point where I started hating the sport. I didn't want to be in it, and I didn't want to do it anymore."
On his opponent: "I actually asked to fight Takeya Mizugaki – not because of a lack of skill or lack of toughness. That's exactly why I wanted to fight him. I want to fight guys that are tough and can put on a good fight and challenge me and get me either a 'Submission of the Night' or a 'Fight of the Night' bonus. I also want someone that will move me up the ladder. I want to fight people that will get me one step closer to the title."
