Mark Hunt Is Hoping for a Title Shot With Win Over Stefan Struve
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 03.01.2013

Mark Hunt recently spoke with MMAjunkie about his fight against Stefan Struve this weekend at UFC on FUEL TV 8. Check out the highlights:

On what he's looking for out of this fight: "To literally know whether I should progress with fighting. Because he's the young guy, I'm the old guy, and I've got to quiet these voices in my head saying I'm one of the best fighters in the world."

On fan support for a title shot that didn't pan out: "It was fun, but it wasn't my call."

On Struve: "He's an extraordinary guy. I don't even know how he can be that big at that weight at his age."

On his hopes for a title shot if he wins: "I want an opportunity to fight against the world's best fighter in mixed martial arts," Hunt said.

On his spiritual reawakening: "I've become a Christian, and my beliefs are much different about what's really important in my life. Christianity is changing my life from the inside. It's kind of weird."
