According to Dave Meltzer, Saturday's UFC on FUEL TV 8 event, headlined by Wanderlei Silva vs. Brian Stann, nearly doubled the all-time ratings record for FUEL TV. The show averaged 485,000 viewers, beating the old record of 255,000 viewers. The pre-game show did 250,000 viewers, and the post game show did 219,000 viewers. They are now the third and fourth most watched shows in the history of the station. The event itself did a 0.8 rating, a number nobody thought FUEL TV would ever come close to.
