Mark Coleman Officially Retires From MMA

The Hammer is officially done…
- According to mmajunkie.com, Mark "The Hammer" Coleman (16-10) has announced that he is officially retiring from MMA. Coleman, who is 48 and announced that he's scheduled to undergo total hip-replacement surgery on Monday, last fought in 2010. That was UFC 109, where he lost to Randy Couture via RD2 submission. Coleman had the following to say about his decision to retire…
"The hammer is done fighting. Just looking for some prayers. I thank everyone who will help me get through this. Have to pay to play sometimes. Only regret is could have worked harder."
