Derek Brunson vs Ronny Markes Planned For UFC on FUEL TV 10

MMA Junkie reports that a middleweight fight between Derek Brunson (10-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Ronny Markes (14-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) being set up for UFC on FUEL TV 10, although it has not been officially announced yet. The event takes place on June 8 at the Ginasio Paulo Sarasate in Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil. The main card airs on FUEL TV after preliminary fights on Facebook. It's unknown where Brunson vs Markes will end up.
Brunson made his UFC debut with a unanimous decision win over Chris Leben at UFC 155, ending a two-fight losing streak. He started his career at 9-0 before losses to Kendall Grove and Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza. Meanwhile, Markes is fighting in his home country and is on a six-fight win streak. These include wins over Karlos Vemola, Aaron Simpson and Andrew Craig. All of his victories have been by decision in the UFC, but nine of his 11 other wins were by stoppage.
