Mike Rhodes Replaces Leandro Silva for RFA 7 Main event
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 03.14.2013

Resurrection Fighting Alliance announced new changes to their upcoming RFA 7 event. Leandro Silva is now out of the planned main event due to a leg infection. Mike Rhodes has now agreed to replace Silva against Brandon Thatch in the headliner for the card.

RFA President Ed Soares stated in an official release regarding the change: "Brandon Thatch is the hometown hero, while Rhodes and Silva are both relatively unknown in the area. However, you know what kind of fighters you get from Duke Roufus. It's unfortunate what happened to Silva, but at the end of the day styles make fights, and Thatch vs. Rhodes will be a very exciting and explosive main event at RFA 7."

The event is set for March 22 at the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado. The main card will be broadcast live in North America on AXS TV.

Here is the updated card for the show:

Mike Rhodes vs. Brandon Thatch
Jeremy Kimball vs. Chidi Njokuani
Matt Manzanares vs. Sergio Pettis
Mirsad Bektic vs. Nick Macias
Carl Postma vs. Leandro Veal
