Weidman says he will grant Silva an immediate rematch...
Following UFC 158, UFC President Dana White talked about a conversation he had with top middleweight contender, Chris Weidman, about spoiling the UFC's potential plans for super fights involving Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, and Georges St-Pierre. According to White, Weidman said he'd be willing to give Anderson Silva an immediate rematch after he beats Silva.
White stated: "If [Weidman] wants to give him a rematch if he beats him, I'm sure people would want to see it. I talked to Chris Weidman myself, and he looked me right in the eye and said, 'I'm telling you, I apologize that I'm going to f--- up your super fights and be your next champion. But what I will do for you is I'll give him an immediate rematch in Madison Square Garden as soon as he loses.' It's verbatim what the guy said to me."
