Ultimate Fighter’s TV Home Still Unsure, Could Stay on FX or More to FX Sports 1
Posted by Larry Csonka on 03.18.2013

According to mmajunkie.com, much of the UFC's live and recorded content will move from FX and FUEL TV to the new FOX Sports 1 channel later this year, officials haven't decided where The Ultimate Fighter will air. Dana White was recently asked about the show's future destination, and stated the following…

"That's all still a work in progress. I won't be the one to make that decision."

FOX Sports 1 is set to debut in approximately 90 million homes. The channel, which executives hope will compete with ESPN, is slated to feature a variety of sports content aside from the UFC, including the MLB, NASCAR, NCAA basketball and football, and international soccer. With Ronda Rousey confirmed as a coach for the show, which will also feature women's fighters for the first time, the thought is that 18th season of the show could create a lot of buzz for the new sports network.
