That's all he's heard...
MMA Junkie reports that during a UFC 166 media session today, UFC president Dana White said that he's heard nothing from Nick Diaz (26-9 MMA, 7-6 UFC) about being interested in a return to MMA, even for a Michael Bisping (24-5 MMA, 14-5 UFC) fight.
He said: "I love that fight. I love that fight. I like it, but everything I hear from Nick Diaz is that he doesn't want to fight."
Rumors of the fight began last week when Diaz's teammate Gilbert Melendez said that he thought Diaz would end his retirement if the right offer was presented to him.
Bisping, a middleweight fighter, then tweeted: "Well if Diaz wants a fight at 185 I would happily welcome him to the division.
Diaz has been at welterweight for most of his career. He retired after a title loss to Georges St-Pierre in March. Not many have taken the retirement seriously. There was speculation about a new deal and even though White offered him a fight with Lyoto Machida, Diaz has not revealed one way or the other if he plans to come back.
White, meanwhile, still says he wants to see Diaz vs Bisping. He added: "I love that fight. Fun fight."
