She faces Jessica Andrade…
- Rosi Sexton recently spoke about fighting at tomorrow's UFC Fight Night 30 event. Here are the highlights…
On The Pressure to Perform Tomorrow: "I think there is a certain amount of pressure, yeah. But I like pressure. My best performances tend to come when I'm under pressure, so that's a good thing."
On Fighting at UFC Fight Night 30: "The atmosphere is going to be incredible and it's going to be fantastic to hear my hometown crowd," she said. "But I think it's important to not get too distracted by that and stay focused. At the end of the day, I've got a job to do. Regardless of where the fight is taking place, that's where my attention has to be."
On Fighting Jessica Andrade (9-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC): She's very young, she's very talented," Sexton said. "I think the fact that I do have those extra years of experience does make a difference. You can't buy experience. She's done a lot in a very short time, but at the same time, I think there's no shortcut in this sport for those years in the gym refining things and developing that understanding. And when the pressure's on, in the second and third round, I think that's when that's going to show."
