Until he gets ahold of him...
Chael Sonnen (29-14-1 MMA, 7-7 UFC) has said that due to his jokes about Brazil, he is concerned about his safety when he goes to the country to coach against Wanderlei Silva (35-12-1 MMA 5-7 UFC) for the third season of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil. Silva, however, promises he will be safe until the two fight. The first season debuted in 2012 and the second last spring. Season three will debut in spring 2014 and begins taping soon. Sonnen and Silva will fight at a finale show in Brazil. The coaching assignments and fight was announced before Sonnen's UFC 167 loss to Rashad Evans. Sonnen's often joked about Brazil but claims he's just kidding around.
Silva said: "He'll be 100 percent safe. Just one guy is going to beat him, and this guy is me. Nobody (else) is going to touch you. Brazil is different. It's a joke for you, but it's not a joke for me and not for my country. But don't worry. You're going to be safe. But you're going to pay for all the [comments] in June. I don't like fake people. I don't like jokes. I don't like guys who talk stupid things about me, and when you say (those things), you're going to need to pay."
