Honorio Banario is Looking for a Knockout in His Rematch with Koji Oishi
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 12.04.2013

Former ONE FC featherweight champion Honorio Banario recently spoke about his upcoming rematch with Koji Oishi. The fight is set for ONE FC 13 on Friday in Manila, Philippines. Banario was previously knocked out by Oishi last May at ONE FC 9, losing his featherweight title. Below are some highlights.

How he plans to finish the fight: "I'm going to knock him out and finish the fight. I want to finish it early in the fight this time for the knockout or fight of the night…The first time I hurt him, but I did not finish him in the first round. In the second round I fought stupid and he beat me. This time I will fight wisely and get the victory."

Banario on fighting for the title again: "[Fighting for the belt] is a big deal for my career. It means more big fights for my future, so I am very lucky to fight again for the belt."
