Julie Kedzie Announces Retirement from MMA Following UFC Fight Night 33

Longtime female MMA fighter Julie Kedzie (16-13, MMA; 0-2, UFC) announced her retirement from MMA last night on her Twitter account following her loss to Bethe Correia. Kedzie lost to Correia on the main card of UFC Fight Night 33 by split decision.

You can check out tweets of Kedzie talking about her retirement below. Over the course of her MMA career, Kedzie has fought in Elite XC, Strikeforce, and eventually the UFC.
