Eight Fighters Sent to Hospital Following UFC Fight Night 33
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 12.07.2013

Eight fighters from the UFC Fight Night 33 event were reportedly sent to the hospital following the event. The fight card was held at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia.

According to UFC Director of Canadian, Australian, and New Zealand Operations Tom Wright, the main event heavyweights Mark Hunt and Antonio Silva were sent to the hospital as a "precautionary measure" after their brutal, five round war. Anthony Perosh and Ryan Bader were also sent to the hospital after their fight on the main card. Bader said he may have injured his hand in the post-fight interview.

In addition, Dylan Andrews went to the hospital after suffering a likely dislocated shoulder in his fight against Clint Hester. Pat Barry, Nick Ring, and Caio Magalhaes were also sent to the hospital.
