Joseph Benavidez Says He's Not Drastically Changing Things From His Last Title Fight
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 12.11.2013

Joseph Benavidez recently spoke with MMAjunkie about his fight with Demetrious Johnson at UFC on FOX 9. Check out the highlights:

On changing things up from the first fight: "It's just tiny little things. I know it was a close fight, and I didn't fight my best, but I went out there and I went after him. That's the thing: I threw everything out of the way and went with pure aggression, which is also a good thing. I just literally went out there and tried so hard – almost too hard. So it's not anything I really need to change. It's just like tiny little things. I don't need to beat myself up and be like, ‘Oh, he has me. I need to change everything up.' Just tiny little things."

On Johnson: "There's no secret about the way Demetrious fights, I don't think. I think if I go out there and … fight relaxed where I can be the best fighter I can be, I think we can come out with some different results."
