Zach Makovsky Says He's Living Off the Excitement of His Debut UFC Win

Zach Makovsky recently spoke about his debut UFC win at UFC on FOX 9 this weekend. Check out the highlights:
On his win over Scott Jorgensen: "I was very excited, obviously, and I'm definitely still living some of those emotions. It feels great. The UFC is where everyone wants to fight. It's been an aspiration of mine to get there and fight there – it was one of my ultimate goals in the sport. Now that I'm there, I'm thrilled to be there. But I also want to do well and see if I can make a run at the title."
On the pressure of fighting in the UFC: "I definitely felt some pressure. I saw the odds and stuff, and that doesn't really bother me. I think if I had more time to prepare for Jorgensen, it could've maybe gone better. But overall, I was in great shape. I was just coming off the RFA fight. I was prepared to fight – I just kind of had to adjust some things with the change in opponent. I feel the same pressure no matter what the stage is."
On getting in the title hunt: "I want to try to make a run and get there. I know I need another fight or two over some top quality people before I earn that shot. But it's definitely what I'm looking for. I don't have a timeframe set in my mind. It's such a new division, and they're still adding to their stable of fighters. So it's kind of anyone's road."
