Though cocaine was found in his system...
According to medical examiners, Shane Del Rosario's death was due to natural causes. The Orange Country coroner's office released the death certificate for Del Rosario, who died on December 9th. The certificate lists anoxic encephalopathy, ventricular fibrillation and Long QT Syndrome as the immediate causes of death and also listed "other significant conditions contributing to death but not resulting in the underlying cause" cocaine, opiates and THC.
Supervising deputy coroner Daniel Aikin revealed that the drugs were found as part of a routine urine screen by the hospital where Del Rosario was taken following his initial heart attack at the end of November. No autopsy was performed, so the amount of drugs is unknown.
