Scheduled Salaries Revealed For UFC 168: Anderson Silva Could Get Around $800,000
Posted by Joseph Lee on 12.28.2013

MMA Junkie has revealed a list of the potential fighters for tonight's UFC 168 event. Anderson Silva (33-5 MMA, 16-1 UFC) should end up making around $800,000, while his opponent, middleweight champion Chris Weidman (10-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC), will make about half of that. The fight takes place on PPV from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The numbers come from the "show" and "win" salaries from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which will regulate the event. A full list will be released after the event is over. The numbers don't reflect deductions for insurance, licenses and taxes and don't include special discretionary bonuses or pay-per-view revenue sharing. Tonight's show will top $6 million in live gate revenue, and will likely have a huge number of PPV buys.

Here's the preliminary list of payouts:

Chris Weidman: $200,000 (plus a potential win bonus of $200,000)
vs. Anderson Silva: $600,000 (plus a potential win bonus of $200,000)

Ronda Rousey: $50,000 (plus a potential win bonus of $50,000)
vs. Miesha Tate: $28,000 (plus a potential win bonus of $28,000)

Josh Barnett: $170,000 (no win bonus)
vs. Travis Browne: $28,000 (plus a potential win bonus of $28,000)
