"He's not going anywhere."
UFC President Dana White revealed that despite his third loss in the Octagon at UFC 168, Bobby Voelker for now won't be cut. Voelker lost to William Macario in a prelminary card bout and fought through a bad cut that made him a bloody mess for most of the fight. The fight puts Voelker now at 0-3 in the UFC after he previously lost to Patrick Cote and Robbie Lawler.
White stated on Voelker, "He's 0-3, and he's not going anywhere. He took the Robbie Lawler fight on short notice, and tonight he was busted up and keeps moving forward, keeps trying to win. We don't cut guys like that."
Macario also showed respect to Voelker following the bout, saying through a translator, "He hurt his hand trying to knock him out, so he feels from this point forward that no one is going to be able to knock the guy out."
