Official Salaries Revealed For UFC 168: Weidman and Silva Earn The Most

One good thing for Silva...
MMA Junkie has revealed the official payouts for UFC 168, with middleweight champion Chris Weidman, Anderson Silva and Josh Barnett getting the most money. The list comes from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, who regulated the December 28 PPV at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena. The total payroll was $1,872,000.
Silva, who suffered his now infamous leg break in a loss, earned $600,000 and would have earned another $200,000 if he won. Weidman had $400,000 with a $200,000 win bonus. Barnett had $170,000 losing via KO to Travis Browne, who got $56,000.

UFC officials also gave out $75,000 bonuses to Browne ("KO of the Night"), Rousey ("Submission of the Night" and "Fight of the Night" for $150,000 total) and Tate ("Fight of the Night"). The numbers are just base salaries and do not reflect entire compensation packages.
