UFC 168 Prelims Broadcast Scores Record Ratings for Fox Sports 1

Fox Sports officially announced today that the UFC 168 Prelims broadcast on Fox Sports 1 averaged 1.55 million viewers. This marks the highest-watched ever UFC Prelims broadcast to date on the channel.

The viewership for the broadcast was a 56% increase over the ratings set by the last UFC Prelims broadcast on Fox Sports 1 for UFC 167, which recorded 998,000 viewers. The broadcast was also the fifth most-watched show on Fox Sports 1 since the network launched in August 2013.

The one hour UFC 168 Post-Fight Show on Fox Sports 1 also delivered the highest UFC Post-Fight Show viewership to date with 313,000 viewers. This was a 26% increase in viewership for Fox Sport 1's first PPV post-fight show broadcast after UFC 167, which had 249,000 viewers.

In addition, the 7PM ET broadcast of UFC Ultimate Insider drew 225,000 viewers. The second encore of UFC Fight Flashback, which looked back at the first fight between Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva at UFC 162, at 7:30PM ET had 412,000 viewers. The viewership for the second encore was up 164% from its premiere on Sunday at 9:30PM ET (156,000 viewers) and up 145% over its first encore on Tuesday at 9:30PM ET (168,000 viewers).
