And he wants it soon...
In an interview with MMA Junkie, Michael Johnson (12-8 MMA, 6-4 UFC) said that he wants a lightweight title shot soon. He last won at UFC 168, knocking out Gleison Tibau (28-10 MMA, 13-8 UFC).
On his goals: "I want the belt, and I want it pretty soon. I'm going to keep winning fights to do it."
On his rough UFC start: "Those losses don't mean anything to me. They're just lessons. I might as well get through them early. Then when I'm at the top, those losses won't happen."
On not calling out any fighters: "I'm really not in the business of calling people out. I want anybody who is in front of me. If you're in front of me, if you're in a position in front of me, I want to fight you."
