Dustin Kimura Says He’s Ready to Welcome Jon Delos Reyes to the UFC at UFC Fight Night 34
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 01.02.2014

MMAjunkie Radio recently interviewed UFC fighter Dustin Kimura. Kimura is set to face Jon Delos Reyes at UFC Fight Night 34 on Saturday. Below are some highlights:

Kimura on his knockout loss to Mitch Gagnon: "It just lit a fire under my ass. I never want to get my ass kicked again, so it's been the motivating thing that's ever happened to me. It was just super humbling and motivating."

Kimura's thoughts on his matchup with Reyes: "I think it's going to be a super good fight. I know he said he wanted ‘Fight of the Night'; I want ‘Fight of the Night.' I'm looking for the finish. I've seen him fight before. He's a scrappy dude from Guam, so I know it's going to be fireworks."

Kimura's on if Reyes will be nervous in his UFC debut: "He's probably, I would think, a little more nervous than he's been (with the) bright lights in the UFC. I had that, the first-fight jitters. It takes a toll on you. But everyone handles it differently. Once he gets in there, it's not going to matter. He's there to fight … and so that's all I'm thinking about. This is the UFC. Everyone is tough. I'm here to welcome him."
