John Moraga Is Now Looking For Knockouts In His Fights

He's done overthinking his fights...
In an interview with MMA Junkie, John Moraga (13-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) said he's going to start looking for knockout in his fights. He will meet Dustin Ortiz (12-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 35 after an injury forced him out of last month's UFC on FOX 9. The event happens Wednesday.
On how he's approaching his fights now: "In my last two fights, I wasn't too happy about how I approached those fights. I didn't do me. I went out there and I started thinking too much. I was able to study my opponents, and see what they did, and I went in there with this stupid mentality of, ‘When they do this, I do this.' Those days over. I'm going to do me. I'm not worried about what they're doing any more."
On going for the KO: "I'm always looking to bring it. I'm going for them bonuses. That's what I'm fighting for. I'm fighting for the win, for the knockout. That's how I want people to remember me when they bring my name up. I bring the exciting fights."
On his loss to Demetrious Johnson: "He did a good job with his footwork and setting up his angles. He made me chase him, which I said I wasn't going to do. Once we got in there, things changed, and the enemy in me came out. I think the buildup to the fight, just people not knowing me, and me wanting to prove myself, that translated into me making some stupid decisions in there."
