Nate Diaz's Manager Says He's Not Afraid Of Khabib Nurmagomedov

He's simply waiting for a title shot...
In an interview with MMA Junkie, Nate Diaz's (17-9 MMA, 12-7 UFC) manager Mike Kogan said that he's not afraid to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov. Diaz was offered the fight when Gilbert Melendez (22-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) dropped out at UFC 170, but when Kogan asked to rework Diaz's contract for some "changes and some modifications", the UFC said no and he backed out.
On looking for a title fight: "We could be looking at a title fight. I think it's a smart business decision to sit around for a little bit. Pettis already said he wanted to fight Nate. Why does he want to fight Nate? He knows it's a money fight. That's the name of the game. Who else would bring that much money? (Benson) Henderson? F–k no."
On turning down the fight with Nurmagomedov: "So now we're forced to defend ourselves. I thought these kind of conversations were kept between us in private. We asked for a new contract. They said, ‘Not after one win. That's not happening.' OK, cool, we'll turn down this fight, which is our right to do, according to our contract. I don't know how this turns into, everybody is scared to fight Khabib."
On Michael Johnson's claims that Diaz doesn't want to fight him: "I don't even know who the f–k that is. [Johnson is] out there going, ‘Nate doesn't want to fight me. I guess I'll just fight Khabib.' Who the f–k are you? Are you on the horizon? Where are you? What have you done? People are yapping a little too much."
