Yoel Romero Says He Wasn't Trying to Coast Through His UFC Fight Night 35 Fight
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 01.16.2014

Yoel Romero spoke with MMAjunkie about his win over Derek Brunson at UFC Fight Night 35. Check out the highlights:

On how the strategy for the fight played out: "It wasn't necessarily the strategy (to take it easy in the first two rounds). As the fight went on, I shifted and changed. I was fresh all three rounds. I noticed in the first round when I hit him, it dazed him a little bit and I didn't get him as hard as I wanted to, so I knew what I had to do (in the third round)."

on speculation that he soiled himself during the fight because of a stain on the back of his trunks: "It was wet. It was sweat."
