John Lineker makes weight on latest attempt...
UPDATE: UFC officials have confirmed that John Lineker was able to make the 126 lb mark on his second weigh-in attempt. He initially weighed in at 127 lbs. The fight with Lineker against Ali Bagautinov will go on as planned.
ORIGINAL: The UFC completed the weigh-ins today for tomorrow's UFC 169 Super Bowl weekend card. The event is headlined by two title fights: a fight for the now undisputed UFC bantamweight title with reigning champion Renan Barao (135 lbs) defending against former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber (134.5 lbs); and featherweight champion Jose Aldo (145 lbs) defending against Ricardo Lamas (144.5 lbs). All the main event title competitors came in on weight.
John Lineker (127 lbs) failed once again to make weight for his scheduled flyweight bout against Ali Bagautinov. He still has time to make the weight, though, and lose one more pound. If he fails to make the 126-pound weight limit , this would be the fourth time in his UFC career to miss his weight mark.
UFC 169 is set for Saturday, February 1 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The main card will be broadcast live on PPV. Prelims will be shown on Fox Sports 1, and three additional prelim fights will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass. Below are the complete weigh-in results:
