She's already the Invicta FC featherweight champion...
MMA Junkie reports that Invicta FC featherweight champions Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino will fight for a muay Thai title next month at Lion Fight 14. She made her Lion Fight debut in September. She will fight Jorina Baars in the co-headlining fight with the women's welterweight title on the line. Lion Fight 14 happens on March 28 at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The main card airs on AXS TV. This is part of a new multi-fight deal with Lion fight, but she will keep fighting for Invicta FC.
Lion Fight CEO Scott Kent said: "We are excited to have ‘Cyborg' back with us March 28 for Lion Fight 14 in Las Vegas. In her last fight, Cyborg absolutely dominated French muay Thai champion Jennifer Colomb, leaving no question that she is a legitimate two-sport athlete who can win impressively in both MMA and muay Thai. She also showed she is an aggressive fighter who has the power and pace to finish fights. I think she won over a lot of new fight fans in our ring, and they can't wait to see her in action again."
Justino has won 12 straight MMA fights. She was originally set to defend her Invicta title against Ediane Gomes in March but that may not happen so close to the Lion Fight 14 booking.
Lion Fight 14 will also feature a main event between WBC muay Thai champion Gregory Choplin and European champ Marco Pique along with Malaipet Sasiprapa vs. Shane Oblonsky.
