UPDATE: NSAC Waiting on Clean Drug Test From Jessica Eye Before Licensing Her

UPDATED: MMA Junkie reports that Jessica Eye (10-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) has passed her test for banned substances from the Nevada State Athletic Commission. She submitted s urine sample on Friday and got the results today.

She will now fight Alexis Davis (15-5 MMA, 2-0 UFC) at UFC 166 in Las Vegas on February 22. She needed to pass the test in order for the fight to go ahead.


ORIGINAL:According to mmajunkie.com, Jessica Eye must test clean for banned substances before the Nevada State Athletic Commission licenses her to fight at UFC 170. She is scheduled to face Alexis Davis at the event. Eye submitted a urine sample this past Friday, and results should come this week. This is due to the news that Eye was given a probated suspension for marijuana following her UFC 166 win over Sarah Kaufman this past October in Houston. That results was changed to a no contest due to the test failure.
