He faces Andy Ogle on Saturday…
UFC featherweight fighter Charles Oliveira recently discussed his upcoming fight against Andy Ogle at UFC Fight Night 36. The fight card is set for Saturday, February 15. Below are some highlights:
Oliveira on his exciting fight with Frankie Edgar: "I showed that I've been putting in good work and that I belong. Many people were sure I wouldn't make it out of the first round. I think the first round was close, the second I believe I won, and the third I know I lost."
Oliveira on what fans can expect from him against Andy Ogle: "Expect to see Charles Oliveira, but an improved version. My standup and jiu-jitsu are even sharper now. I am going to put my muay Thai and boxing into action. If he makes any mistakes, expect me to win by knockout. I'm not interested in decisions."
Oliveira on the fight making the Fox Sports 1 broadcast: "They understand that by putting me on the main card, they won't be disappointed. I'll keep moving forward, win or lose. I think they appreciate that. I'm training for a war. My parents will be there to see me fight in the UFC, in person, for the first time. I'll move ahead until I get a knockout or I'm knocked out, until I submit or get submitted."
