Rousey defends her title at UFC 170…
USA Today Sports recently released a video interview with UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey ahead of her title bout with Sara McMann at UFC 170 on Saturday, February 22. Below are some highlights.
Rousey's thoughts on McMann: "On paper, she's an amazing athlete, and athletically you could say we're very close to equals, and that's why people are so excited about this fight. But I think that I'm more of a fighter than she is."
Rousey on why this fight and the title is more important to her than McMann and Rousey being willing to ‘die' in the cage: "I can tell that this title is not as important to her as it is to me. She has a kid at home, and she has to go home to that kid. I can afford to be selfish, where she can't. I'm willing to die in there, and she can't."
