The Spider is recovering well...
MMA Junkie reports that Anderson Silva's trainer Ed Soares has posted a video on Instagram of Silva (33-6 MMA, 16-2 UFC) hitting pads for the first time since he suffered a broken leg eight weeks ago. In the video, Silva is seen boucing lightly on his left leg while working with Marco Morales. He broke his leg at UFC 168, causing his TKO loss to Chris Weidman (11-0 MMA, 7-0 UFC) at UFC 168.
The injury started rumors that Silva may retire but Dana White promised that he would make his return. This past weekend, he said that White could be back in the UFC by the end of the year. White said his doctor praised Silva on the quickness of his recovery but White is still being cautious.
He said: "We'll see what happens. Anything can happen. He can hurt it again in training or anything is possible. He could start training and not feel the same. We'll just see how it all plays out."
