Jumabieke Tuerxun Says He Has A Record Of 30-0
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.28.2014

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Jumabieke Tuerxun (0-0 UFC) said his actual record is 30-0, even though Sherdog reports him as 14-0 and the UFC bills him as 17-0. He will make his UFC debut against Mark Eddiva (5-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) at The Ultimate Fighter: China finale from The Venetian Macao's CotaiArena in Macau. It will stream on UFC Fight Pass.

On his actual MMA record: "I've fought 30 times, but some of the fights in China aren't promoted and recorded. Some of them are small fights in small cities where they don't have the Internet. But I'm undefeated."

On getting into MMA: "I first saw MMA on TV. I was on the provincial wrestling team at the Xian Sports Institute. The institute has a Sanda team that fights in MMA events. I went over to the team to try out, and I made it."

On his fight tomorrow: "There's no pressure. It's going to be a top fight, and I get to represent China. That's a reward for me, and it allows me to give back to China."
