Vitor Belfort's Random Drug Test Result Won't Be Revealed

No one will release the results...
The Nevada State Athletic Commission has revealed that they will not be releasing the results of the random drug test they did on Vitor Belfort earlier this month. NSAC chariman Francisco Aguilar told MMAFighting that they were not legally allowed to share the results or talk about them because Belfort did not provide consent outside of his application to release the results and never actually submitted his license to fight.
The NSAC asked Belfort to take a test on February 7th when he was in Las Vegas for the 2013 World MMA Awards. The results came in earlier this week and all parties, including the UFC, are aware. THe UFC is not required to release the results and have not, leaving it on Belfort as to whether he will discuss them.
And that, for the record, won't be happening either. MMAjunkie received a response in regard to an email request frm Belfort's lawyer which read, "The test is not relevant as Vitor is not applying for a license to fight in Nevada at this time."
The lawyer added in regard to Belfort no longer facing Chris Weidman for the middleweight title that the UFC and its parent company Zuffa "felt that with this change at the commission, there is no time for Vitor to drop his TRT program, secure a license for a May 2014 bout and leave Zuffa with time to properly promote the bout."
