[VIDEO] Tyron Woodley Thinks an Injury Doesn't Lessen His UFC 171 Win Over Carlos Condit
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 03.16.2014

UFC welterweight fighter Tyron Woodley appeared on the Fox Sports 2 post-fight show for UFC 171 to discuss his huge win in the co-main event at the PPV over Carlos Condit. Below are some highlights and a video of the segment:

Woodley on if the way he won makes it a bittersweet win: "Not at all. I was dominating him, which is a hard thing to do. I surprised him with the leg kick. For me to chop him down at the leg is surprising because he's the leg kicker. His knee got injured from a great timed double leg takedown. It's a part of the game. It was great fight for me."

Woodley on going after Condit after his knee was hurt: "I knew his knee got buckled, but I wasn't sure which one. I knew I was going to chop each leg to see what was hurt. I'm a pit bull – I'm going to go after it. I didn't ask for this fight because I thought I was going to lose."
