That's why he wanted the rematch...
In an interview with MMA Junkie, Royce Gracie spoke about the rematch between Eddie Bravo and his brother Royler Gracie in a special-rules jiu-jitsu match at Metamoris 3. The event happens at the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles and streams live on www.metamoris.com. Bravo won the last fight between the two by submission (with a triangle choke) in the semifinals of the 2003 ADCC submission wrestling championships. Bravo went on to lose to Leo Viera by decision in the final.
On Royler's reaction to the rematch: "I was talking to [Royler] when he signed up for the [rematch], and he was like, ‘Man, I never asked for the rematch. I'm surprised that for the last 10 years, he's been chasing me.' That means he doesn't believe that his win was credible. He knows it was a fluke."
On being there for the fight: "Of course I'll be there. I wouldn't miss this one. But it's a match. Anything can happen."
On the fight showing the evolution of the fighters: "They both have their strategy; they both know what they do. The question is who's going to pull it off."
