K.J. Noons vs. Sam Stout at TUF Nations Finale Moved to Welterweight
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 04.14.2014

The fight between K.J. Noons and Sam Stout at TUF Nations Finale will now be fought at lightweight. The switch from welterweight has been confirmed by the UFC following initial reports hitting the internet earlier on Monday.

The UFC's statement reads, "The lightweight bout originally scheduled between Sam Stout and K.J. Noons has been changed to a welterweight contest. The fighters approached the UFC to request the change in weight class, and it was subsequently approved by both the UFC and the Quebec athletic commission, the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux."

The fight takes place on the preliminary card for the event, which goes down on Wednesday from Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The main card airs on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
