Dana White Comments On Rich Franklin's Possible One FC Job
Posted by Joseph Lee on 04.21.2014

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Dana White spoke about Rich Franklin's possible job with One FC, even though he's still under contract to the UFC.

On not having a problem with Franklin going to One FC: "He's still under contract to fight, if he ever wanted to fight. We have a good relationship with Rich. Rich got offered a really good opportunity to go work with those guys, and I'm happy for him."

On Franklin not being like other people to leave UFC for other jobs: "There's nothing wrong if you come and ask. How can you be upset with a guy for trying to better his life or taking a great opportunity somewhere? You can't. It's the sneaky guys that lie to your face and all that stuff (that I have a problem with)."

On Frankin's UFC future: "I don't know. It's not like, ‘Oh, if he takes this job, that's it. We'll never him fight in the UFC again.' If he came back and wanted to fight, he's still under contract with us, and he hasn't officially retired. Rich is out there making some moves. He started a business. He's got this business that he's running, and he's putting all his time, money and effort into it, but he needs a source of income for it."
