His win has been over turned…
According to MMAjunkie.com, the Nevada State Athletic Commission officially punished Dennis Siver for his failed drug test at UFC 168. Siver tested positive for human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), but blamed a new trainer for the issue. At today's hearing, Siver said he didn't intend to use the drug as a performance-enhancer and instead used it to aid his weight-cut. Commission members said they doubted the story, especially since Siver didn't disclose hCG on his pre-fight paperwork. The commission also expressed skepticism when Siver said he took the drug orally and didn't inject it.
The commission voted unanimously to punish Siver. This included overturning his win over Manny Gamburyan (13-7 MMA, 4-5 UFC), changing it to a no contest, suspending the 35-year-old fighter nine months and issuing a fine of $19,800 (30% of his purse). Siver will now need to submit a clean urine sample before he the commission will license him again.
