Vitor Belfort Says He's Ready to Return to the UFC; Dana White Says 'Hold Up'

It's not going to be that easy...
Vitor Belfort says that he's ready to fight again for the UFC, but he has some hurdles to clear first according to Dana White. Belfort told MMAFighting over the weekend that he has done his own testosterone level tests and has passed them all, indicating that he's clean. He now says he wants a fight with Chris Weidman, saying, "Give me what is mine."
However, Dana White says it isn't that simple, telling MMAjunkie that there are some obstacles to clear first.
White said, "He's got to solve his problems with the Nevada State Athletic Commission, and when he does that, we can figure it out. He better get to work (if he wants to fight in July). He's got a lot of work to do. That s–t doesn't just happen like that. You've got to get on the agenda – he's got a lot of work to do. He's fooling himself if that's what he really thinks, is that he took a couple home tests and he's ready to roll, or whatever he did. He's always fun. He's hilarious."
White added, "He'll apply in Nevada, and then he can fight anywhere (if he's approved)."
Belfort was scheduled to face Chris Weidman at UFC 173 in July, but was pulled off the card when the NSAC banned therapeutic use exemptions for TRT. Belfort has previously been suspended by the NSAC when he tested positive for elevated testosterone levels, which could make it harder for him to get licensed.
