Cage Warriors Signs Featherweight Andrew Fisher
Posted by Joseph Lee on 04.29.2014

MMA Junkie reports that Cage Warriors Fighting Championship has signed British featherweight Andrew Fisher (12-6-1) for a five-fight deal. His first fight for the promotion has not been announced, but he's currently on a two-fight losing streak.

Fisher is from Sunderland, England. He recently fought for Bellator and lost by unanimous decision to Saul Almeida at Bellator 110 in February. Before that, he lost by decision to Joe Taimanglo at Bellator 99 in September. Before that he was on a seven-fight undefeated streak with a 6-0-1 record. All six wins were buy stoppage. All but one of his wins have been a finish.

Fisher said: "I'm really looking forward to finally fighting for Cage Warriors. It almost happened a few times in the past, but now I know that the time is definitely right."

He joins fellow featherweights Graham Turner, Chris Fishgold, Alex Enlund, Arnold Allen and Martin Svensson.
