Nate Diaz & Khabib Nurmagomedov's Reps Explain Why They're Not Fighting at UFC Fight Night 45
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 05.02.2014

Reps for Nate Diaz & Khabib Nurmagomedov recently spoke with MMAjunkie about reports that the fighters were offered spots on UFC Fight Night 45. MVC Sports Management's Mike Constantino said that Nurmagomedov wasn't offered a specific opponent and Diaz' manager Mike Kogan say that he was just never contacted. Check out the highlights:

Constantino on Khabib declining: "We were never offered an opponent but were just asked to fight on that date. At that time, I informed the UFC that it was Ramadan and that Khabib would be unavailable."

Kogan on Diaz not being contacted: "Nobody called me about a Cerrone fight. I'm not ignoring anybody. I'm pretty sure in my job description it says, ‘Don't ignore calls and texts related to people you represent.'"
