Bjorn Rebney Explains Why Bellator 120 is Not One Flat Price Across Distributors
Posted by Larry Csonka on 05.05.2014

- Many MMA fans have noticed that, depending on your provider, the price for the Bellator 120 PPV ranges from approximately $30 to $45. Bellator Chairman and CEO Bjorn Rebney recently explained why that is. Here is what he had to say…

"All the different cable operators are picking their own price. We gave our affiliate partners like Comcast and Cox and Verizon and Directv and Time Warner – everybody you can think of – we gave them all the flexibility to price it as see they fit. "So some will be $30, some are going to be $35, and some will be $39.99. It's all dependent on what the cable operators want to do. We felt like they knew their individual markets better than we did. So rather than dictating to them, we said, ‘Price it as you see fit and we'll roll with it.'"
