It was the result of good strategy...
Francis Carmont recently spoke with MMAjunkie about facing C.B. Dollaway at UFC Fight Night 41, Dolloway's win at Fight Night 38 and more. CHeck out the highlights:
On Dolloway's knockout win: "It made for a very good strategy. He waited for a good moment and the opportunity to punch Cezar in the face and wasn't afraid about him."
On his loss in his most recent fight: "I'm furious, but it's good the UFC gave me a quick fight in two months. I'm very excited for how I can make a comeback for a victory. I lost my last fight because I didn't control the distance. I let him break the distance and take me down. If I was careful, maybe I would have won the fight. But it's a fight."
On facing Dolloway: "I'm very hungry to fight, and I thank the UFC to give me a fight with C.B. It's the first time I'm going to Berlin for a fight, and it's not that far from Paris. For sure, I'm going to go to Paris to see my family and friends."
On Dollaway: "He's a guy who can do anything in a fight. His wrestling; he can push a fight. This guy comes to fight. People don't know, but this guy is very underrated. He knocked out Cezar Ferreira."
